Jumping on the Real Techniques bandwagon!

Hey hi hello!

Last week I decided to just on the bandwagon and buy Revlons Nearly Naked and the real Techniques stippling brush! I've used them both for a few days now so I figured I'd give you guys a review of them!

I bought the foundation in the shade Ivory, which was the lightest shade there, because I'm very very pale I was unsure whether it would be a good match or not, but it is! It's the perfect match.

Despite the name suggesting a very light coverage it's not. I was expecting a very natural look but it reality it's medium/high coverage which looks flawless on the skin. It gives great coverage that lasts all day!

positives:
~ great colour for pale skin
~good coverage
~lasts all day
~suitable for dry skin
~very affordable!

negatives:
~there's no pump so you get a lot of product on your hand to use. It's hard to control the amount of product that comes from the bottle.
~ leaves the skin feeling slightly sticky once applied, even after powder

I really think if you're after a good coverage foundation that leaves the skin looking perfect then this is for you! It seems to have a decent range of colours for a very good price, in Boots right now there is a buy one get one half price on all revlon products!

Next up is the stippling brush! I've used this to test out foundation and cream blusher and I loved using it for both, I'm using it now for foundation though.

When using this I apply the foundation to my hand and then dip the brush into the product. I use the brush in circular montions on my face and it blends perfectly! I am so in love with this brush that I want every other brush in the collection.

I gives a flawless base which helps .with the coverage of foundation. For a brush it is more than I'd usually like to pay but it's well worth it to get a flawless finish.

Have any of you guys tried these products? What do you think?
